We finally got to visit the Bay Islands in March of this year and during a whirlwind few days managed to find suitable properties for my daughter,Jenny, who has been living on Roatan for more than 3 years and my son, Rob, who has recently moved to Utila. We can honestly say that, were it not for Mark we would not have bought either property. To say he worked hard is too big an understatement - he was brilliant and managed to find the perfect place for my daughter, something we did not think was possible as she had rejected everything we found for her for the previous 3 years. When we met up he said he had asked Jenny what she considered to be the most important feature of her ideal home and she replied "A washing machine and a dryer". Yet with so little to go on he found somewhere so wonderful that we all fell in love with it. It had neither a washer nor a dryer and we didn't mind a bit. We then went to Utila and found a beautiful house on the water in Utila Town for Rob only to discover that we were not the only ones who wanted to buy it. It is such a gorgeous house and we wanted it desperately but it looked as if we were just too late, but Mark stepped in and used his considerable negotiating skills to get our offer accepted. Needless to say it did not stop there, he has followed both purchases closely all the way to completion, of course I mean Closing, and dealt with many issues, big and small, guiding and advising us through each stage of the procedure. He has won our trust and respect and we have now asked him to act for us as our representative for all our future acquisitions in the Islands. We recommend anyone looking for a realtor to go to Mark.
